Colchester & Tendring Women’s Refuge exists to provide crisis accommodation for women. Accompanying children who are homeless as a result of abuse. They offer help and support. Also have drop in sessions around Tendring & Colchester.
A crisis telephone helpline, one to one support and counselling, face to face counselling, outreach, advocacy and practical support.

Connexions is for all 13-19 year olds, and older for some people with additional needs. Talk confidentially to a personal advisor for information or advice on all sorts of topics including: jobs, work, money, learning, health, relationships, housing, travel and transport, free time.

The probation service is an organisation working towards: Protecting the public, reducing re-offending, the proper punishment of offenders in the community, ensuring offenders awareness of the effects of crime on the victims and the public.
Multi agency team funded by Behaviour Improvement Programme,
supports children and families obtain education through promoting attendance,
emotional well being and working with schools to reduce permanent and
fixed term exclusions.
Open Road exists in order to reduce harmful impact of drugs and alcohol on users, their families, partners and society. Offer counselling Chinese herbal medicine, homeopathy, aromatherapy, reflexology, acupuncture, family support, women & alcohol group, aftercare, etc.
We are here to support black and minority ethnic people who live in the Colchester and Tendring areas. TACMEP aims to eliminate racial discrimination and promote good race relations and equal opportunities for all.

EYPDAS is an integrated substance misuse service, providing a service to problematic substance users, aged 18 years old and under. Essex Young People's Drug and Alcohol Service is comprised of four services and also supports families, carers and professionals.
